SOIL Château Léoube’s position overlooking the Mediterranean means that its full bodied red wine has a freshness and briskness not always associated with the wines of the south of France. A mixture of schist and clay characterize Château Léoube soils.
WINEMAKING Hand-harvested. The grapes are transported directly to the winery where they are placed immediately in temperature controlled vats. The fermentation is carried in stainless steel tanks with 12 days skin contact then natural alcoholic fermentation and full malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. It’s aged in demi-muid French oak for 24 months.
