“From a loess vineyard at the bottom of the famous Heiligenstein with its mineral-rich conglomerate soil the luminously citrus colored 2013 Grüner Veltliner Lamm Erste Lage offers subtle aromas of white domestic fruits like ripe and dried apples with some hints of oak and spices. Very juicy and quite piquant on the palate, this medium to full-bodied wine has a good phenolic grip followed by long and salty finish. This is a complex, very young and thus still slightly drying Veltliner with a very good aging potential.”-91+WA
