An elegant yet powerful grape varietie with notes of liquorice root, violets and eucalyptus. In the mouth the red fruit shines through along with some spice. Graciano is a late ripening grape variety that is rarely bottled as a mono varietal due to its temperamental nature. A rare and appealing wine.

“I have loved the nose of the young Graciano since I smelled the first vintage, and the 2019 Lágrimas de Bhilar Graciano, which has changed the name slightly, is no exception. It’s floral and perfumed, showy and peppery. Furthermore, I think Graciano ripened nicely in 2019, and this is really very good. With ripe fruit and a soft palate, this is a young red designed to be drunk early, after spending six months in concrete where it fermented with natural yeasts. Delicious. 10,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2020.”-91WA, 2020-2023
