Here is your easy 2022 guide for selecting your Thanksgiving wine. With a variety of dishes, we want wines that are adaptable and pair well with a variety of cuisines. Here are some great options for your table at a variety of price points.
Pinot Noir
Pinot Noir is by far the most popular choice and here is our current top recommendations.
Gamay
My personal favorite red wine apart from Pinot Noir for Thanksgiving would be the wines of Beaujolais. The Cru versions in particular offer a level of complexity that shoots way above price point. These silky wines made from the Gamay grape have a lot in common with Pinot Noir.
Slightly fuller bodied reds
If would like something with more body and fruit than a Pinot Noir, but still sticking to a softer tannin profile than these wines will be right up your alley.
Sauvignon Blanc
Sauvignon Blanc is a great crisp and refreshing option.
Chardonnay
Chardonnay works if you need a white wine with a little more body. Here are some great selections that have that body, but aren’t too rich that they will clash with your dishes.
