“Delivers a briary backbone paired with just enough polish to retain its old-school authenticity. Offers notes of wild berry, licorice and toasty sage that build tension toward zesty tannins. This shows the best of Dry Creek Zin. Drink now through 2030.”-93WS
The core of Seghesio Cortina Zinfandel comes from Chen’s Vineyard, planted in 1972 by fourth-generation Ted Seghesio and his father Ed. The site resides along the creek where the sandy soils produce rarefied Zinfandel. With mornings shrouded in fog and prevailing afternoon breezes from the marine influence, Cortina grapes benefit from longer hang times in normal seasons.
