San Felice has been making Brunello di Montalcino for over 40 years. They recently acquired a 6 hectare parcel in Bolghieri. This area is known for producing some of the best “super-Tuscans” (wines made from non-Italian grape varieties). Of the 6 hectares, 4 are planted to Merlot and the other 2 are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon. They produce two different wines from this vineyard and this Bell’Aja is 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon.
