Maui Wine, Lokelani, Brut Sparkling Rose

Very similar to most traditional sparkling wines from around the world, Lokelani is a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Lokelani, like all of the Maui Wine sparkling wines, is made in the Traditional Method (Methode Champenoise). The wine is then aged on the lees (dead yeast cells) between 20 to 24 months. They use a bit of red wine from the estate vineyards in the dosage, which imparts color and aromatic characteristics.

As the official flower of Maui, Lokelani has adorned the Ulupalakua landscape for many years, charming us with its vibrant pink petals and captivating fragrance. The original name of the ranch where they are located was Rose Ranch, and the estate that makes up the grounds were covered in roses including the unique and rare Lokelani.
