Saturated with smoky cherry, spice and wet soil flavors, this red is rich but well-balanced by bright acidity. Delivers ample flavor while remaining light on its feet, finishing with fruit and mineral notes. Best from 2016 through 2024. 300 cases made. –BS (Score: 90) Wine Spectator
Tasting note: A moderately toasty nose still allows the overtly spicy aromas of dark cherry, raspberry and cassis to shine. There is superb complexity to the intense, detailed and lightly mineral-inflected medium weight flavors that display a taut muscularity before terminating in a mouth coating and impressively persistent finish. This is excellent and worth considering though it will probably require 2 to 4 years for the wood influence to fully integrate. (Score: 90-93) -Burghound
