“The wood treatment definitely is in evidence with menthol and oak notes surrounding the otherwise pretty aromas of dark currant liqueur, earth and discreet spice nuances. There is both good volume and freshness to the nicely concentrated and lightly mineral-inflected medium-bodied flavors that exhibit a hint of mocha on the ever-so-slightly edgy finale.
